They are responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded properly, and making sure that money is being used appropriately. Additionally, they may be involved in setting budgets, approving expenses, or issuing paychecks to employees.
1. Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a must.
2. Strong computer skills are necessary, as the position involves using software to manage and maintain finances.
3. A good understanding of financial statements and how they're calculated is essential; additionally, experience with spreadsheets or other reporting tools would be beneficial.
