What is a Accounts Admin?

A Accounts Admin is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of company finances. They may also be involved in accounting and bookkeeping tasks, as well as handling customer service issues related to billing or account management.

What qualifications are required to become a Accounts Admin?

1. A college degree in finance, accounting or business administration is generally required. However, some entry-level positions may not require a formal education and instead rely on experience.

2. Accounts administrators typically have strong computer skills and knowledge of accounting software programs such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel. They also need good organizational abilities and the ability to problem solve quickly.

3. Accounts administrators often work in teams with other members of an organization's financial staff responsible for preparing financial statements, meeting reporting deadlines and providing support to various departments within the company that deal with money matters (such as accounts payable/receivable).

4.. In order to maintain accurate records of all transactions carried out through an organization's finances, an administrator must be able to keep track of both incoming (an audit would involve checking these figures against what actually happened) and outgoing (payment processing etc.) data streams simultaneously; this is known as "data management". 5 .
