A Accounts Assistant is a position within an organization that assists in the management of financial accounts. They may work with different departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date records are kept, prepare reports on finances, or assist in other finance-related tasks.
1. Minimum of 2 years accounting experience in a professional setting.
2. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
3. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team is required, as is strong multitasking abilities.
4. Good organisational skills are also necessary, along with the ability to handle complex financial data quickly and accurately; proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) is advantageous but not mandatory for this position.
5 . Excellent time management skills are vital - Accounts Assistants must be able to manage their own workloads while meeting deadlines
