A Accounts Assistant is a person who assists an accountant in the preparation and filing of financial statements. They may also help with other accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll, or auditing.
1. A minimum of two years' experience working in an accounting or bookkeeping capacity is necessary to qualify for this position.
2. Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel and a strong attention to detail are essential skills for success in this role.
3. Excellent organizational skills are required, as the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and managing financial paperwork efficiently.
