Job Description

We have a vacancy of an Accounts Assistant position to be based at our Jebel Ali Head office. The position holder should have 3 to 04 years of accounting experience with any manufacturing industry. The position holder should have good knowledge on accounting principles and able to do all the transnational jobs related to AP and AR independently. Key Result Areas: · To do all the transactional entries related to AP and AR in the oracle system. To pass bank receipt entry for bank charges miscellaneous receipt, Inward remittance, letter of credit, Normal Draft, Manual Receipt, Cash transactions, Current/Post dated cherub, remitting of receipt, ect. · To prepare intercompany ageing report and send to respective intercompany accounts department for the payment follow up. · To prepare ageing report and consolidated statement of account for third party customer and send to sales and customer service department for the purpose of follow up on the overdue balances. · To coordinate with logistics team for release of documents based on customer account balance. · To prepare debit note and credit note for interest on loan/past over dues, management fees, commission, discount, rebate, returns, claims, collection from consignment customers, reimbursement of GMBH expenses related consignment and other intercompany recoveries. · To match credit note received from other intercompany and pass entry after approval from CS and Sales Department. · Responsible for verification of GMBH data received from GMBH unit, preparation of sales, discount data after checking with inventory and GL module, booking of CM/DM for -cost transfers, commission, freight, warehouse service fee, collection for consignment customers, claims, sales return etc. · Responsible for application of customer invoices, credit memos, debit memos and discount issued to customers. Education qualification: Bachelors of commerce Experience: 3 to 4 years in any manufacturing industry Work Remotely No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
