A Accounts Assistant is a person who works in an accounting office and helps with the day-to-day tasks of running the office. They may also be responsible for specific financial or administrative tasks.
1. A degree in accounting, finance or business administration
2. Experience working with accounts and numbers
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
5. Excellent organizational skills
1. Ability to handle a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing and filing tax returns, processing invoices, tracking expenses and cash flow, compiling financial reports.
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet application is helpful but not required for this position.
4. Excellent problem solving skills as Accounts Assistant jobs often involve resolving complex issues quickly on behalf of clients or company executives. 5.. Good communication skills are essential in order to be successful with an Accounts Assistant role as they will frequently have contact with other members of team both internally and externally
