An architect is a professional who designs and oversees the construction of buildings. Architects typically have a degree in architecture, but may also have training in other disciplines such as engineering or urban planning. Architects work with clients to come up with ideas for new structures or renovations, helping to create spaces that are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
1. A degree in architecture from a accredited school is required.
2. Experience as an architect or work experience in the architectural field is preferred.
3 Time spent working with drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit are helpful skills for Architects to possess.
4 Engagement with clients and collaborators throughout the design process is essential, along with strong problem solving abilities 5 Excellent communication and writing skills are also necessary for Architects
