A heavy driver is a type of truck that has been designed to move large, bulky objects. They are typically more expensive than standard trucks and have larger payloads. This makes them ideal for moving cargo around warehouses or industrial sites.
-A heavy driver must have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
-They must be able to handle large, heavy equipment.
-Heavy drivers need to be strong and have good balance.
-They need excellent vision and hearing because they often work in noisy environments.
The skills required to become a Heavy Driver are: strong work ethic, good driving record, attention to detail, excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
