Physios need good manual dexterity in order to perform various treatment techniques such as mobilization/ stretching exercises, massage, electrotherapy (such as TENS units), casting/ splinting etc..4 .Physio’s must have excellent observation skills in order to detect potential problems early on which would necessitate more intensive treatment later on5 .
