What is a Tiles Mason?

A tiles mason is someone who installs, repairs and maintains tile in buildings. They may work on a floor by themselves or as part of a team. Tiles masons often use heavy tools, including drills, saws and chisels, to cut and shape tile.

What qualifications are required to become a Tiles Mason?

1. A minimum of two years experience as a mason is required to become a tiles Mason.

2. Tiles Masons must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings, have strong construction skills, be reliable, organized and detail-oriented.

3. Must have excellent problem solving abilities in order to identify problems with projects before they get too far along and resolve them efficiently.

4. Must possess good manual dexterity in order to handle tools safely while working on site;tile installation requires lots of handiwork!

5 .Tiles Masons are often called upon for emergency repairs or installations so the ability to work independently under pressure is essential

What are the skills required to become a Tiles Mason?
