A Accounts Admin is someone who oversees the financial affairs of a business or organization. This person might be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting and forecasting, payroll, human resources management, etc.
1) Experience working in accounts payable or accounting is required.
2) Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must, as the Accounts Admin will be interacting with various departments throughout the company.
3) Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is beneficial, but not necessary; experience writing accurate and detailed reports also counts.
4) A strong attention to detail and willingness to work independently are essential traits for an Accounts Admin.
5) The ability to remain calm under pressure is always advantageous when dealing with clients or co-workers who may become agitated easily.
1. Ability to organize and manage a variety of tasks related to accounts payable and receivable processes.
2. Knowledge of bank account software, such as QuickBooks or Quicken, in order to keep track of financial data.
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work independently as well as part-time or full-time depending on company needs.
4. Good problem solving abilities; be able to identify and resolve issues quickly without requiring lots of support from others within the organization
