What is a Accounts Admin?

A Accounts Admin is someone who manages and oversees the financial accounts of a company. They might also be responsible for ensuring that all documentation related to finances is accurate and up-to-date, as well as helping to keep track of expenses and profits.

What qualifications are required to become a Accounts Admin?

A degree in accounting or a related field, experience working as an accounts payable specialist, strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities.

What are the skills required to become a Accounts Admin?

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as Accounts Admin will need to communicate with various departments and stakeholders in order to manage the accounts effectively.

2. Good organisational skills, as an Accounts Admin will need to be able maintain accurate records of all transactions and dealings within their department or organisation.

3. Proven experience working with financial systems (e.g., accounting software), as this is a key skill required for managing bank or company finances efficiently.

4. Highly skilled at problem solving, as accountants are often required to resolve complex issues arising from their work - e..g., reconciling discrepancies between different data sets or investigating fraudulent activity within an organisation's booksings/transactions).

5.- Excellent computer literacy – being comfortable using Microsoft Excel / Word etc., in order to analyse data & present findings visually
