An audit/account assistant is a person who assists with the financial management of an organization. This includes tasks such as preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting audits, and maintaining accounting records.
In order to become a Audit/Account Assistant, you will need to have at least two years of experience in accounting and good computer skills. You should also be able to handle complex financial reports andQuickBooks software.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Proven experience working with accounting software programs such as HP QuickBooks or Intuit TurboTax
- Knowledge of financial reporting principles, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Sarbanes Oxley regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
