What is a Tig & Arc Welder?

A Tig & Arc Welder is a machine that uses a wire rod to join pieces of metal. It has two parts, the tig (a tool used for welding) and the arc (an electric current).

What qualifications are required to become a Tig & Arc Welder?

1. A minimum of an associate's degree in welding is required to become a Tig & Arc Welder.

2. Knowledge and experience in using arc welders is necessary, as well as the ability to read schematics and use tools such as MIG welder machines or TIG torches.

3. Must be able to work safely with molten metal and gases, must have good hand-eye coordination, focus attention for long periods of time, stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
