1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills - It is essential that a successful Account Manager - Sales be able to effectively communicate with clients, prospects, team members and others involved in sales operations.
2. Proven experience managing accounts – A successful Account Manager - Sales should have prior experience leading or working within an account management function of a company. This includes knowing how to identify and assess customer needs, develop effective marketing plans and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
