Dream Plug Technical Services Llc is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Coating Inspector in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 11-50 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A coating inspector is a professional who inspects coatings to ensure they are in compliance with industry standards. They detect problems such as water droplets, air bubbles and thin films on the surface of the coating.
1. A certification in Coatings Technology from an accredited college or university.
2. Five years of experience as a coating inspector and at least two years of experience with coatings technology products such as paints, pigments, varnishes etc.
3. Knowledge about the types of coatings used in industry and knowledge about their performance characteristics (e.g., solubility/thixotropy).
4. Experience working with microscopy to assess surface quality (i .e., roughness, pits/cracks) and composition variations across the film thicknesses using light scatterometry techniques or scanning electron microscope imaging software..
5 An understanding of how various process steps impact coating integrity
1. Have a good eye for detail and be able to identify problems with coatings
2. Be comfortable working in a lab setting, inspecting samples under different light conditions and using various testing methods
3. Have experience working with paints, lacquers or other coating materials
4. Possess strong math skills when it comes to analyzing data related to coatings quality control
5. Be familiar with industry regulations governing the use of coatings
