1. Review the job requirements carefully to ensure that you are hiring a PM who is qualified for the position.
2. Conduct an online interview with potential candidates and ask them about their experience as a PM, what they have done in this role before, and how they would approach solving problems associated with the role.
3. Ask finalists questions related to their experience as aPM (e.g., What was your most difficult decision during your time as a PM? How did you overcome it?), assess whether or not these questions test any of the essential skills required for success in this position, and choose only those candidates who seem likely to be successful in meeting organizational objectives using proven methodsologies .
