1. Employers should contact the Bulgarian embassy in their country to inquire about domestic worker visas and find a reputable agency that can help them hire a qualified individual.

2. After finding an appropriate provider, employers should make a contract with the employee specifying all duties and wages as well as any benefits they will be eligible for such as healthcare coverage or vacation time.

3. Once hired, employees must undergo health screenings and CPR training before beginning work; failure to do so could lead to dismissal from employment immediately.

4. Domestic workers are entitled to minimum wage (€240 per month) plus overtime pay of at least €45 per hour after 40 hours worked in one week, which is also mandatory during weekends and holidays unless agreed otherwise in the contract between employer/employee pairings . Overtime rates may increase based on experience level or qualifications of the domestic worker being employed .

5. Employees are prohibited from working more than 12 hours consecutively without rest , except under specific circumstances outlined by law
